INTERNATIONAL MARKETING MANAGER

GENERAL PURPOSE

Support the planning and implementation of marketing activities that support the Company’s business strategy for orthopaedic reconstructive surgery and spine markets outside the U.S.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement marketing activities that align with Corporate marketing initiatives in key international (O.U.S.) orthopaedic reconstructive and spine markets.  Initial focus will be on select countries in Western Europe.
• Drive Corporate and product branding and positioning initiatives outside the U.S.
• Serve as the marketing interface with key international orthopaedic reconstructive and spinal surgery surgeon thought-leaders.
• Act as a conduit for leveraging U.S. surgeon thought leaders and U.S. based specialty meetings to drive business efforts in targeted markets outside the U.S.
• Develop and implement an O.U.S. publication strategy designed to communicate the value of the Company’s technology when used for orthopaedic reconstructive and spine procedures.
• Develop surgical technique videos by O.U.S. surgeons that demonstrate the proper technique for utilizing the Company’s technology for specific orthopaedic reconstructive and spine procedures.
• Work with O.U.S. direct sales organization and select distributors to develop and implement leveraged educational activities in association with specialty orthopaedic and spine societies in targeted markets.
• Serve as the resource for transferring branding, positioning, and product information associated with the use of the Company’s technology for orthopaedic reconstructive and spinal procedures to O.U.S. direct sales individuals and select distributors.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field, MBA desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a marketing role within the medical device industry.
• At least 2 years direct experience in a marketing role in Western Europe.
• At least 2 years direct experience in either the reconstructive orthopaedic surgery or spinal surgery market.
• Experience developing clinical white papers and surgical technique videos.
