SALES ANALYST
GENERAL PURPOSE
Salient Technologies develops and markets single-use surgical instruments that reduce or eliminate blood loss in surgery. Salient’s saline enhanced RF technology allows surgeons to control bleeding and improve patient outcomes. Our current space is Orthopaedic Reconstruction, Spine & Surgical Oncology. We sell Monopolar & Bipolar disposables with a generator system.
The Sales Analyst will act as a member of the Sales Operations Team of Salient Technologies. The Sales Operations team provides analytical, systems, and process support to Sales Sr. Management and sales force and Marketing functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides sales force reports and analysis including sales trends and individual sales productivity.
- Develops standardized reports in Crystal to support field
- Create and support databases
- Assists in the identification of needed reports and recommends both source and format while collecting feedback to modify reports.
- The Sales Analyst will support all Sales Force Automation activities and will also responsible for improving and automating the process, by which data is captured, reported and analyzed.
- Discovers and recommends innovative ways to display information in a format that leads to rapid understanding of the data.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.)
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in analytical work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS
Education and Experience:
- Advanced experience in Excel and Crystal is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals and functional areas within the company.
- Demonstrated analytical approach to solving complex problems.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills. Capable of planning, prioritizing and organizing projects to meet deadlines. Flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities.
