TissueLink Adds Three New Independent Board Members

Dover, NH, March 6, 2006 — TissueLink Medical Inc. announced today the election of Rick Randall, J. Neal Armstrong, and Win Wallin to its Board of Directors.

Bob Strauss, Non-executive Chairman of TissueLink since October 2003 and board member since August 2000 said: "These world class independent directors bring a wealth of talent and experience as medical device executives and directors to the TissueLink Board."

Rick Randall serves as President and CEO of TranS1, Inc. a company dedicated to developing and marketing minimally-invasive therapies to treat lower back pain. Prior to joining TranS1, Mr. Randall served as CEO of Innovasive Devices, Inc. and Target Therapeutics, Inc. He is co-founder of Conceptus, Inc. and Cardima and has served on the boards of Microtherapeutics, Inc., Conceptus Inc., Endocardial Solutions, Inc., and Urologix, Inc.

J. Neal Armstrong joined Aspect Medical Systems, Inc. in 1996 and served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer until January 2005 when he retired as an officer of Aspect. He currently serves Aspect as Vice President of Investor Relations. Prior to Aspect, Mr. Armstrong was the CFO of Haemonetics Corp., BTU International and served for 14 years in senior operating and financial positions at Texas Instruments, Inc. Mr. Armstrong currently serves on the board of directors for deCode Genetics. Mr. Armstrong was elected Chairman of the TissueLink Audit Committee.

Winston R. Wallin is Chairman Emeritus of Medtronic, the world's largest medical device company where he served as Chairman from 1985 to 1996 and CEO from 1985 to 1991. Prior to Medtronic, Mr. Wallin was President and COO of Pillsbury and has served as an outside director for Cargill, Inc., First Bank Minneapolis, Bemis Companies, SuperValu and Soo Line Railroad. He also served as Trustee for Abbot Northwestern Hospital, Carleton College, Minnesota Zoo, The Minneapolis Foundation, The Minneapolis Institute of the Arts, University of Minnesota Foundation and The Wallin Foundation. The Wallin Foundation provides college scholarships for high school students in Minnesota and has granted over 2,000 scholarships to date.
