TissueLink Medical Names Joseph F. Army President and Chief Executive Officer

Dover, NH, June 21, 2007/Businesswire/ - TissueLink Medical Inc., a privately held medical device company, announced today the retirement of company co-founder M. Jacqueline Eastwood and separately, the appointment of Joseph F. Army as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective June 16, 2007.

In commenting on her retirement and Mr. Army's appointment as CEO, Ms. Eastwood said "I am ready to focus on other things that I have started including a school for street children in Cambodia. The business is strong, the Aquamantys™ System is gaining rapid market acceptance, and I have great confidence in Joe's ability to lead the company through this period of rapid growth."

Mr. Army joined TissueLink in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining TissueLink, Mr. Army had been Vice President of Finance and Supply Chain Operations for Westaim Biomedical Corp., a startup focused on infection control. Previously Mr. Army worked at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting from 1991 to 1997, ultimately serving as Director of its strategy consulting practice in the firm's Philadelphia office. He holds a BA in history from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.
